This case demonstrates the Counter Display object.
The purpose of the Counter Display is to show the value of a Counter variable in a more user-friendly context. Instead of the numbers or text being shown in the standard bottom right corner of the page, where it can be easily missed, the author can now embed the value within an image.
So, for example, you can show a blood glucose reading on the image of a glucometer. But this is not just a picture - the actual value of the Counter shown in the glucometer reading will be updated according to the play of the case.
The Counter Display object is referenced in the usual wiki style: (but with CD: instead of MR: etc)
We can use this method to show dynamically updating results from the Counters. Once a Counter Display has been created, it can be used multiple times within the case - the author does not have to create a new image for each page or Counter value.
