How to insert LMA i-gel

Prepare patients head into sniffig position. 

I-gel mask is in the protective cradle, so first remove it from cradle, use small amount of water-based lubricant. 

Position i-gel cuff outlet is facing towards the chin of the patient. 

Before proceeding patients head should be extended and neck flexed, chin should be gently pressed down.

Introduce the leading soft tip into the mouth of the patient, direction of i-gel should be towards the hard palate. 

Glide mask allong hard palates until it fits.
