perform a Dix-Hallpike manoeuvre

The Dix-Hallpike test produces vertigo when she lies on her R side. You look carefully at her eyes.

"Please don't do that again, doctor. I hate this feeling. I might throw up on you."


There are a variety of videos on how to perform this maneuver. 

The New England Journal of Medicine has one but it is rather long and shows many different maneuvers.
