How long do you plan to stay on the buprenorphine?

He answers “I heard that it is much quicker to get off. Maybe 2-3 weeks?”

You reply that it usually takes much longer than that. In fact, buprenorphine is a long-term treatment, and for some people it may be a lifelong treatment.
