History

You call Jake through and ask some further questions. The history you obtain is:

Jake was completely well until 2 weeks ago, when his current symptoms started. Initially he had feverish episodes, headache and myalgia. More recently he has noticed a sore throat and rash.

He now feels really dreadful, so has come to hospital. His partner thinks he has the flu and has been unsympathetic, causing some tension at home.

Jake has no past medical history and does not take any medications. His only foreign travel in the recent past was to Ayia Napa about 4 weeks ago. Prior to that he went to Kenya about 3 years ago.

He works in Information Technology, does not smoke and drinks alcohol only at the weekend - but sometimes to excess.
