First Patient

The first patient you are asked to see is Edward Chambers. He is a 36 year-old morbidly obese diabetic who was admitted with cellulitis. His drug chart has gone missing and you are asked to re-write one. You check his usual medications and also any adjustment which has been mentioned in the medical notes.

You presribe:

• Actrapid 14 units with meals

• Glargine insulin 50 units at night

• Aspirin 75mg

• Ramipril 10mg

You hand the chart to the nursing staff and continue with your jobs...
