Why?!

When I work with a learner at any stage, I love to ask “WHY”.
This allows the learner to explain their reasoning for their decision and to look at the evidence towards it.
“WHY” does not mean they are “wrong” but allows them the opportunity to question and opens discussions.
 
Example: How often will you check this lady in labor? Why?
Why would you choose “x” to treat their infections?
