Recent history

Mrs Scaglietti tells you that many things have changed for her over the last year. She has often felt breathless and she tires easily. She had to give up her job at Waitrose as it was getting too much for her, and she was getting confused. She says she just thought she was getting older. Then a friend noticed the swelling in her neck.

You notice that Mrs Scaglietti was last in the surgery nearly 2 years ago, and the notes indicate her weight then was normal. On questioning, she says she has gained a few pounds, about one and a half stone actually.
