Where to find copyright free images etc

How to use Google, Flickr etc.

The easiest way to find images that you can use is with Google's Advanced Image Search: 

http://www.google.com/advanced_image_search

If you examine the page there, …

…at the bottom of the page, you will see a box marked 'usage rights:' Simply change this to something like 'labeled for reuse' and then Google will limit the images returned to those it "thinks" are ok.

You still need to visit the originating site and check to make sure that you can use the images that you find. Google's system is far from perfect, but it does have a very broad reach in finding materials.
