You can place all your videos into a single page or Node but this can get messy.

A quick test here:

We suggest that you place them into separate Nodes, but this may also depend on the flow that you want in your learning design.

General steps:

  1. Decide on a topic
  2. Go to YouTube and search for that topic.
  3. For each video that you want to use, copy the URL pointing to it in YouTube.
  4. Make a note of which time points (start and stop) you want to use in the video - i.e. which section of the existing material is useful for you.
  5. In the OpenLabyrinth editor, not while playing a case, you need to open a browser tab pointing to this link, or use the menu Tools | Video mashup -
  6. Follow the steps in the short user guide for the CURIOS Video Mashup tool.
  7. When you are done, generate the HTML code that is to be pasted into the new node. Copy that HTML code to the clipboard.
  8. Pick the Node where you want to place your video frame.
  9. In the Node Editor, you do need to use Tools | Source Code and work directly with that page's HMTL code.
  10. Paste the generated code from your clipboard into the Node's code.
  11. Save your changes then Play the case to see if you like what you have created.
